Riverside Retreats - Steamers Meadow, hotel in Carbis Bay

Situated in Gwinear in the Cornwall region, Riverside Retreats - Steamers Meadow features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Fantastic little wooden cabin, perfect for our small family of 3 but could easily accommodate 4. Everything was immaculate and we loved the little touches like the coffee machine, and the reaaallly comfy sofa. The cabin has been fitted to the highest standards, really powerful shower and nice lighting. Alice was an amazing host, and even provided a high chair for our little one.

Another fabulous and relaxing stay in Morwenna. The hut has everything you could possibly wish for, comfy bed, lovely hot shower, compact but well thought out kitchen, outdoor space and stunning views! We even had 4G in the middle of the field! We walked everywhere and didn’t move the car all weekend. Porthleven is definitely worth a visit, relax with a drink and some seafood at the Mussel Shoal down on the quay!

Luxury Shepherd's Hut on Flower Farm with Outdoor Bath in Mid Cornwall, hotel in Carbis Bay

Luxury Shepherd's Hut on Flower Farm with Outdoor Bath in Mid Cornwall is a recently renovated campground in Truro, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden.

Beth had kindly left goodies in the beautiful hut and gave us a personal tour. It was a fun couple of night's stay, using the log burner and outside bath after a long day's walking. Breakfast al fresco in the rising sun, fire pit and chairs towards the setting sun, and a cheeky swing in the hammock too.

Treguth Glamping Unique Experience - Themed Huts, hotel in Carbis Bay

Set within 25 km of Newquay Train Station and 32 km of St Michael's Mount in Saint Day, Treguth Glamping Unique Experience - Themed Huts offers accommodation with seating area.

The absolute highlight of this stay was the animals! 3 Goats and sheep roam the area freely, working hard to mow the lawn and cut back the brambles. A lovely little doggie will attend to you in your cabin to ensure you have enjoyed your stay and collect tips (in the form of belly rubs) and Jethro the cat will visit you to test that your bed met the standards of comfiness (it passed with flying colours). If you are not a massive animal lover (why are you looking at this stay?!) you are provided with a gate that you can put across your door while it is open. The other main thing to know about this place is that you do not need to pack much more than your clothes. They provide most things for free and the rest you can get from the honesty cupboard for a small price (including marshmallows to roast on the fire if it's dry enough). Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, board games, books...all provided! The accommodation itself is so comfy! We stayed in the Dreckley which is different from the pictured hut. There are three huts in total, all lovely, but be aware it may not be the blue and white hut you are staying in. The bed was super comfy and having a mini stove and oven was so handy for breakfast on a drizzly morning. It felt so cozy in there we didn't even worry about lighting the heater until the morning after our showers. The shower room is close by and, despite being run on solar power, was gloriously warm and powerful. Definitely coming again for a longer stay!

The property is ideally located for both Carbis Bay Beach and Carbis Bay Station. St. Ives is one stop away and takes 2 minutes to get to and only cost £1 each way. The beach is excellent - very clean with clear water. Be aware that whilst the station and beach are walking distance, they are both downhill - the walk back can be tiring but not unmanageable. Margaret and Martin are great hosts and like to spend time getting to know their guests with a genuine interest in them.

A great self contained cottage - with everything you need. Not far from St Ives and Carbis bay beach. Easy walking distance to a fabulous restaurant and bar. They left drinks in the fridge and biscuits - which is a lovely gesture. It was easy to find a carpark nearby. Bed was comfortable and unit was very clean.
