This place is just amazing. It's situated in a beautiful, remote and lush forest.

Spotlessly clean well equipped with comfy double bed plus we chose to have bedding provided. There were plenty of electrical points a kettle & wall heater. Shower and toilets immaculate either plenty of hot water. Great WiFi too!

Location was fantastic - beautifully remote yet there's a pub which is five minutes walk away.

Our second stay and we love it at Stable cottage.Liz is always happy to help if you have any problems too. The lovely upside down cottage is just behind the Three Tuns brewery and pub so not far to walk for your evening meal and drink.Other pubs and eateries along the streets.Six Bells is very good and so friendly.Our first night we had a barbecue there.Lots of walks from your doorstep and buses to Shrewsbury and Ludlow too

Gerry was very welcoming, as was her lovely cat. Barn House was a lovely place to stay, plenty of space, very clean. Breakfast was very good food; it included wonderful homemade bread, jam, marmalade and apple juice. One of those memorable places to stay, in a very good way. We are very keen to return.
Loved Everything..Such a beautiful, peaceful place. The Lodge is furnished to a lovely high standard, very clean and equipped with everything you may need while you’re away. Have to say the bed is so comfy..had the most restful nights sleep. If walking is your thing there are so many places to explore. If you get a clear night you must check out the night sky quite a sight to behold. Hosts are so lovely, very knowledgeable about the area.

Lovely historic hotel in a historic location. Very nice room with all facilities you need. Very clean and well presented. Well catered for pets in all areas of the hotel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff who couldn't do more for you. Excellent choice for breakfast and evening meals. Great use of local produce.
