Well appointed clean room. Friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was an optional extra. Full Welsh breakfast good quality and substantial. Useful to have the pub within walking distance. Limited menu on Friday nights. Morrisons convenience store close by. Only 5 minute drive into town also walkable in 20 minutes. Well placed for exploring this beautiful part of Wales. Useful to have on site parking too.
A very comfortable and well appointed cottage, small but with everything I needed.
The bed was very comfy, the shower excellent and the kitchen very clean and well equipped.
Gilwern itself seemed friendly, fairly quiet in the evening but with a pub and small supermarket within very easy walking distance..There is easy access to the Heads of Valley road making it a great location for exploring the Brecon Beacons.
As a lone traveller, I loved it.
Loved the location especially the friendly alpacas that roamed freely outside,the hut was clean and cosy but big enough for our needs.Also it was my partners birthday and they had put some birthday bunting up with some balloons which we were both very grateful for thank you.Would definitely recommend the glamping huts to friends and family and will be booking again for sure some time in the near future.
The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped and only 1.5 miles from town, which was an easy walk. Megan was very helpful and provided bedding for the sofabed as we were 2 friends staying, not a couple.
Stunning location, combination of tranquillity and nature/views with comprehensive clean/comfortable glamping facilities is as good a camping experience as we've ever had. Absolutely loved it.
Very comfortable bed, good layout and very clean. Great location, very peaceful just what we needed. Eggs were a nice touch! Towels and toilet rolls included.lovely views when you follow the path to the picnic bench.
