Lovely family camping with good and clean facilities. We stayed in a Chalet Evasion, which is a really nice accommodation for families with young kids. Location of the camping is prefect, lots of nice bike trails around this location.
In the heart of the Bragauds forest between the village of Sainte Marie de Ré and Rivedoux beach, the Fougères camping offers a calm and wooded environment.

The facilities are well maintained and the ground is rather small and quiet. Bike are for rent. It is a little remote but good to reach.
Offering a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden, Camping La Prée in Les Portes is close to Gros Jonc Beach and Loge Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace.

It is a camping not an hotel, it is just something different.
Just a 6-minute walk from Conche des Baleines Beach and 0.4 miles from Plage de la Côte Sauvage, Camping Les Perouses features accommodations in Saint-Clément-des-Baleines, with a bar, barbecue...
Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or RV park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-pitched tent, RV, or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms, and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
I particularly liked the lovely swimming pool and well kept grounds. Breakfast was continental, fresh and plenty available. The staff are very hard working. There’s a good bar service. Ample parking either in main hotel car park or just opposite. Great location for restaurants/bike hire/beach/shops, everywhere is accessible by foot, car or bike if you want to explore more of the island. I really enjoyed my week here, it was very relaxing and would recommend to other travellers.
From check in the staff were so friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. The setting was really relaxing, we really enjoyed the spa/ pool area and felt very relaxed throughout our stay. Dinner was also 10/10 and wait staff again were super friendly and accommodating
Spacious room , very clean, large comfy bed and a patio to sit outside . The hotel staff were really helpful . This hotel is part of a bigger complex with self catering chalets & camping . About a 10 minute walk to the beach .
All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Kampaoh. The tent was very clean, we had acess to all the facilities such as the beach, the swimming pool (which was also very clean)
All the staff were very welcoming and kind.
I recommend Kampaoh to all my friends and familly :)
Unfortunately we did not pay the extra cost while booking, to upgrade the tent and have the fridge.
Excellent location. We could hear the sea and the restaurants and boulangerie were just down the road - ideal for picnics on the beach. The beach was great - clean and good facilities. We liked the little garden at the property and how the property had everything you needed. Plus off street parking. Milk and water in the fridge on arrival. Kettle for tea. The fridge had a freezer compartment - useful for freezer blocks. Good quality mattress on the bed.
Great staff on reception- very helpful. Lovely quiet site. We loved the pool. The privilege cottage that we stayed in was very clean and spacious- it had everything we needed. Saint Marie de Re is a lovely quiet village with a small market. It’s about a 10 minute cycle from the campsite. The majority of people on the site were French which we loved.
Overall we had a fantastic week.
We loved how unusual, big, cosy and clean the tent was, a fridge, and power point were a bonus. A lot of little touches like chairs and table outside, we loved sitting outside in the evening with the tent lights on. The campsite is sharing grounds with a bigger holiday park and we had access to all facilities: beach, pool, shop, restaurants and breakfast room. The island is absolutely beautiful and we found location very convenient. It is 5 minutes walk from the beach.
