Camping Le Sagone, hotel in Porto Ota

Located a 2-minute drive from the sea, Camping Le Sagone is an air-conditioned resort with 2 swimming pools, a French restaurant and a bar. Guests can play tennis, table tennis or sing at the karaoke....

Kids loved the toboggan and the playground which was open also in the evening and allowed parents to enjoy a calm moment in the garden with the food track. Supermarket very close. The organisation of arrivals and departures is very well done, and the staff at the reception is kind and available.

Fantastic family run accommodations, wonderful staff, easy walk to the beach, simple & effective with natural multi level gardens, parking & amenities needed for a short stay. Access to nature, generous staff who excel in hospitality simply because they know what to do, not because they have customer service targets, what a refreshing experience!

The hotel is located in a very nice spot between mountains and sea with nice view on both from the room's balcony. The old town of Porto with all the restaurants is within walking distance, as well as the beach.

We enjoyed the hospitality of the owner and receptionist. The exceptional view of the mountain and the sea.The hotel grown tomatoes. The possibility to use the fridge and sometimes to cook a meal in the beautiful garden settings. The proximity of the nearby restaurants and shops. Being close to a camping site, beautiful walking trails, the beach. The receptionist knows the area well and drew about 5 maps for us of special areas to visit in the areas nearby which the average tourist might not know about.

The view from the terrace was stunning! We could watch the sunset every night while sipping cold drinks thanks to the fridge found in the room. I think this hotel has the best location of all the hotels in Porto, not only because of the best view but also because of the proximity to the restaurants, harbor and the beach. Also, the hotel staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean.

The room was good with a nice airco, it was clean and comfy. There is a Carrefour nearby, so you can easily shop (not a bad idea to buy a tasty picnic and go to the beach ;)) Overall, a decent choice (and quite cheaper than in the city center) I advise you to do a boat trip (with a small one) to visit the caves and see the calanque from the sea
