Just a handful of properties on the site meant much more privacy than on larger sites. The accommodation itself was of a high standard and the location perfect for the cycle tracks (it was mainly a cycling holiday for me). Host was very friendly and, thanks to her patience, we were able to communicate in French despite my poor language skills. Thanks for everything.

The hotel & pool/garden areas are very attractive & well maintained with plenty of parking & right by a beach. All staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good with options to eat outside on terrace or by the pool. Rooms and bathrooms were bungalow style in the gardens & were clean & comfortable.
It was a lovely room clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was lovely. It was within walking distance of local restaurants for our evening meal and plenty of parking. We sat on the beach and watched a glorious sunset.
Location easy walking distance to town - beach opposite, although main road in between! Facilities all as we’d expect - pool bonus, but unable to use due to timings! Breakfast buffet style, plenty of choice available.
The location is good for subsequently travelling around the island. La Cotiniere itself is a little quiet, it being early season. The room decor was very modern "beach style" and fitted the ambiance well. Although we didn't use the pool, the area looked very clean and friendly.
Excellent facilities to keep bikes safe and secure overnight.
