The house was very much as we hoped! We loved it! We wanted a house that was authentic to La Palma and the Canaries Island, it was in the countryside with a great view and plenty of walks nearby. You would definitely need a car to get to the shops and visit the area, the local markets especially the one in MAZO. (Would advise and automatic if you can as the are many steep roads to handle). The beaches are not far by car. We found some good restaurant and discovered some amazing locally produced wine.
Lovely house situated less than 10 minutes drive from the airport and 15 from the capital, but was nevertheless in a very quiet area. Spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable and a spectacular view over the ocean from the bedroom window. There was a lovely outside patio area with a barbecue, seating and covered area. Great communication from the owner using what’s app, who also left us with the most amazing avocados which we ate throughout the week.
Beautiful spot with private house, gardens, parking and swimming pool. Very clean and comfortable but still with an authentic atmosphere. Hosts were a lovely couple but unfortunately we don't speak Spanish which is a shame as I think we could have had some great chats. We will learn some before we return. Communication by hand waving worked well!
This is amazing place. Beautiful tarace, just 50m from the ocean. Very peaceful village with nice restaurant. Seniorita -our host is very helpful and caring. Kids have a small sandy beach. Natural swimming pool is safe, but is filled with water only during high water. And the spectacular concert of waves. Great for sleeping and contemplation.
Great communication with the host throughout our stay. Totally amazing view from the terrace (which included an awning). Car parking available. Very clean. Kitchen equipped with all the basics (including moka pot).
Beautiful, very clean, fully equipped bungalow - for two people to stay for some more to have a barbecue. The pool is precious and with the heating cover it warms up during the day to quite enjoyable temperatures. It’s super quiet, the garden is way greener than in the pictures and despite the isolated place, the capital, hiking areas, beaches, sights and restaurants are reasonably fast to reach.
