Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or rv park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-mounted tent, RV or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
It is an OK place to stay for a night or two if you're on a camping/surfing trip and you don't care much about comfort.
It was really nice to use the sauna even though it was getting quite late. Sauna is close to the shore so you can have a quick swim after.
It was great to get some advice from the staff about different wind/kite surfing spots on the whole island, really appreciate it!
We really enjoyed our stay at Kalana Holiday Resort. The location is so beautiful, under the pine trees and near stunning beaches. Our favourite part was cooking in the outdoor kitchen (where you have all the utensils) and on the fire. Also daily sauna and comfortable shower/WC facilities were a huge bonus. The hosts are always around to help out with anything needed. We really recommend this place for a memorable and relaxing vacation.
Really nice, rationally planned house. Sauna and WC, shower without any problems. Parking place nearby house. From inside we were able to see and watch Baltic sea. It's possible to go to Kalana port or Paradise beach (ex-military base) on foot in like 5-10 minutes. Owner leaved all the things wich were needed for our stay. Heating of the house is very rational. We spent there 5 days and we really enjoyed it.
Epic view. About 50m from the beach. You can go surfing/windsurfing/foiling straight from the beach house by foot if the conditions are right. House is warm even when it is cold and windy outside. It has a good kitchen and a nice ceramic grill outside. Good wifi if you need. Kalana (or Ristna and Pikakari what are really close) has the best wave spots in Baltic Sea! Hosts are super nice and helpful!!!
Two bedroom room in bigger old house at second floor. Shared kitchen and living room in the first floor. Everything was clean and kitchen was equipped well. Quite nice place for solo traveller or when travelling with family.
The location is really superb, next to the small Kalana harbor. Nearby good beaches. Official round the Hiiumaa hiking trail is passing the harbor.
beautiful view, nature, nice place for grilling (incl all necessary stuff). beach bar is fantastic and gives the feeling of being somewhere in Caribbean. bungalows (for 2 people) are just wooden boxes with one bed and small window, so do not expect smt glamorous.
Love the location.. the forest and the beaches.. the staff is very friendly and helpful and a superb breakfast..
