It's basic but well-run. Joshua speaks good English and provided details for a 3 day tour of the desert - also recommended. The hammocks were strong and comfortable.The air conditioning works, there are lockers (bring your own padlock), a courtyard with chairs for socialising, and the beach is a very short walk away.
I stayed here twice.
Cristina was extremely kind and professional, I can tell she likes what she does, she’s so patient and she’s just adorable. I’d come back just for her! And the location is just perfect!! So close to the beach and Malecon.
The room was good, spacious, clean. The beach is right close to the hotel, solitary but good, big, the pool is good enough to go with children. The service at the reception was very friendly and they brought me a cocktail to my room. There is a parking lot inside, thats a big plus.
Very clean, like being at home. Bathrooms have soap in and towels are provided.

Mario who checked us in was very nice and helpful.
There's a tour agency attached; we didn't use them but they've lots on offer and can store your luggage whilst you take trips.

Rooms are small if they're full; we had a 4 bed with bathroom and luckily were just 2, otherwise would be a squeeze.
