Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or RV park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-pitched tent, RV, or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms, and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
Breakfast was so tasty and made for when we needed/desired. The location was perfect, just outside of the main streets on the hill over looking the town and river. The mirador was amazing and a Greta place to chill. The hosts were so so Lovley and welcoming. Beds super comfy with a good fan and mosquito net. Very clean and well facilitated.
Very authentic experience, jungle immersive feeling without actually having to camp (jungle glamping even!) Situated by a gorgeous little lake and surrounded by trees, if you love nature this is the place for you. Charlie is absolutely lovely, so kind and helpful and very knowledgeable about the Amazon and indigenous people and culture. Would love to go back and spend more time there.
The location is a 20 minute walk out of town, which we really liked. The property was pretty rustic and really felt like you were in the woods (the jungle, actually!). We also stayed in the more rustic circular bungalows which felt a little bit more like glamping. We were fine with that. There was coffee most of the time and the staff was generally kind and helpful. The town of Puerto Nariño was beautiful and we're so glad we stayed in this area instead of Leticia.
An amazing stay! The cabins are simple but a lovely design with views of the big pond area and are kept very clean. We loved sitting on the decking, watching the birds fly around and the cayman swim. Charlie and his family were incredibly lovely, they welcomed us into their home. We learnt a lot about the local area. Charlie arranged trips for us to a local lake, an area to see sloths and a 4 days in the jungle. All were fantastic and very reasonably priced. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!
Buy far the most comfortable and nice room in puerto narino. We saw a lot. This is not comparable. Yes, there is no hot water in puerto narino, the showers are cold. There are power shutdowns in the down, it is not the hotels fault. Everything was very clean, white sheets and towels, cleasn floors also under the beds. Nice breakfast. Sit at their "look out" point. They alsodont offer you excursions
The kindness of the hosts and the feeling to belong to a family.
