This is a quiet location away from the busy town with a shallow inlet leading out to the open Lake Huron. We could always hear the waves crashing from cottage. The cottage was far enough away from the few other cottages, so we didn't hear any one else. Our cottage was very clean. We appreciated they provided coffee and the kitchen & BBQ was well equipped. The linen seemed new and fresh. The kayak we borrowed from property was decent and provided the paddles & life jackets.
Booked a cabin but got a clamping hit. The pictures online on booking.com all showed a cabin with kitchenette but we got just a bed in a big wooden tent. If I knew it was the glamping pod I would have thought $140+ per night was too much to pay. To me that's a $100 even after tax situation
Location was perfect to the harbour, restaurants etc. Loved our quaint room and the addition of picnic tables and BBQs that you could use beside the motel. Very friendly owner and staff. Very clean!
