Location was the reason we booked and thankfully we were able to see the king parrots close at hand which is what we remembered from a trip many years before. Basic accommodation but beds were comfy and shower good. Saw kangaroos too 😃

Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or RV park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-pitched tent, RV, or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms, and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
Could not rate Kennet river camping site any higher! Definitely our top spot when choosing a location to camp. Right across from the ocean for morning swims and surrounded by bustling towns for a delicious lunch and cozy campfires on site for the evening. Staff were incredible and always up for a chat. Would highly recommend for anyone thinking of camping along the Great Ocean Road!
We had a cabin and the location is fabulous. Staff is friendly and helps you spotting the Koalas. You just need to cross the road to be at a lovely beach. Camping guests were sweet too.
Loved the views from the lounge, dining and main bedroom. Outdoor shower is luxurious, especially bc it has hot water. Very clean, easy walk to beach and pub. Well kept and impressive. Would definitely stay again.

The view is just insane. The beach is downstairs literally across ocean road (which is quite calm at least in winter).
You can hear the waves at night, just amazing !
There is also a fire place for cosy warm evening which I really loved.
The house is also very clean and the bed really comfortable.
It is all nicely furnished and cosy. There is also everything you need to cook, including a barbecue.
Very easy check in/out and good wifi.
We loved our small cabin nearest the beach, a glimpse of the ocean. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Col the Manager and Guru the tech guy who fixed our tv channels in our room. The guys even looked at our car engine when we thought something was wrong. The facilities were wonderful, bed was comfortable. We would recommend the Caravan park to anyone travelling that beautiful part of Victoria.
The Big 4 wye river caravan park is the best accommodation in Wye River. We generally like to rent out a beautiful house on Airbnb or Bookings.com for our holidays but every time we go to Wye River we instead elect to go to the caravan park!
Its clean, facilities are excellent, the cabins are well appointed and warm and the access to the beach and beautiful little river is second to none and is literally world class.
The cabin was lovely. Comfortable and well kept with an amazing view and 15 seconds walk from the beach. the beach is quiet and accessible and pet friendly ( with time restrictions at peak times between Christmas and Easter ). the cafe/ general store next door offers a great selection of amazing food and good coffee.
Although booking.com states no pets, dogs are welcome at the caravan park!
