We booked a private en suite room. The room was very clean and much more comfortable than we expected but was a basic room. The hostel is not too rowdy so no trouble with noise late at night. The walk to centre of Cairns is long but a very pleasant one, especially along the beach front so we did this daily.
Very clean & in a quiet but convenient location. Convenience store across the street, minutes walk to large supermarket, shopping mall, bus station, the Wharf area and the Esplanade. Room had kettle, microwave, cutlery, plates cups etc. & lots of table space. Very comfortable.
This was definitely the most luxurious apartment we’ve ever stayed at. Very clean and had everything we needed and more! Beautiful balcony, with beachfront views. Exceeded our expectations
2x beds in a room/apartment was very equipped and met our expectations. happy to come back again with all my kids as the place was very clean and easy access to beach as well.
We loved having our own apartment, especially at the end of our (campervan)trip. The rooms were very clean, kitchen well equipped, it had a sunny balcony and especially the staff were so lovely and helpful. The pool seems great, but we were too busy exploring the city.
Great suggestion: the tandoori Indian restaurant around the corner!
Very close to the beach, quiet area, the apartment was very clean and had a near new bathroom. It is nice to have a kitchen and balcony as well. Most necessary kitchen items were provided. Staff were very friendly. Be aware that it’s in a completely quiet area with only a couple restaurants open on certain days, and zero nightlife. If you are happy to cook and save money, this place is great. It’s still only 10 mins to Cairns centre.
A nice budget room, very clean and comfortable, older style. We could catch the local bus outside either into town or to beaches in the north. Nice pool and bbq area.
Plenty of food takeaway and dine in, a short walk away. Tia's Thai was really good.
Parking was secure and combination locks are used for security at night. The owner Mike was very helpful.

The location was perfect as you could walk to the beach, restaurants, nighttime activities and to the local supermarket. Very clean and comfortable room with a view over the pool area.
We loved our stay at the caravan park and stayed in the lodge which was perfect for 2 people as 1 had the double and 1 had the bunk bed. The shared facilities are great, very clean toilets and showers and BBQ. Such good value for money it was a very friendly place to stay for 4 nights.
