What a nice getaway! I arrived in the afternoon when the heat was intense. However, the thoughtful staff has turned on the AC in my tipi before I checked in. I was able to relax and do some work on my laptop in the, by then, positively cold tipi.
Loved the beautiful evening breeze off the lake and had almost 9 hours of the deepest sleep I’ve had in months. Something about that fresh air… The BBQ dinner was excellent with grilled steak, veggies and mashed potato .
To top it off, as I was leaving the staff gave me fresh, organic bananas they grow on site. I regret leaving the vegetables they wanted me to take too but I had no space in my backpack.
Definitely a place I want to get back to.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. If you wanna book a tour you can do it also here. Besides that it has a cozy social area outside with hammocks. The park isn’t far. Just a five minute walk to the river. Breakfast is included and also the other food served is good. And they also have a really cute dog 🐶
Very close to the national park’s entrance just 2 minutes away on foot. The hostel has a restaurant on-site with good food and vegetarian options. They even prepared breakfast as take away when I went to the gibbon trek on the early hours of the morning. It is possible to book a lot of tours as well as renting bikes. The backyard has a nice relaxing vibe with hammocks and tables.
Fantastic place, perfect location for the national park, really beautiful accommodation. Beautiful garden and restaurant area. Room was basic, but very comfortable, homely and had everything you needed! Included a mosquito net too. Staff were so friendly, always happy to help, and the food they cooked was delicious and cheap. Felt very healthy and fresh too! Also loved their homemade pineapple beer! Offered lots of tours and offered to arrange buses and taxis. Bicycles we rented were really good too. Would definitely stay here again.
Perfect location a 5min walk from the park entrance, my stay here was lovely. The lodge is simple and has everything you need, right in the river with beautiful sunsets, and most importantly the staff was so kind and helpful. I enjoyed it so much I stayed an extra night, would highly recommend!
Location right next to the park with terraces with beautiful view to river and park. We watched really nice sunset there. The meals was good, and they had delicious homemade ginger beer. The information from the personal about travelling to place, activities in area were really comprehensive. If you are about to rent bicycles to use in Cat Tien I recommend to rent bicycles from the accomodation - they had much better quality than the ones from park.
Ideal for those interested in wildlife. Tasty food, the national park is right outside, and you can view birds flying across the river in the evenings and mornings. Luan speaks perfect English, and is very helpful and will organise all the best activities in the park. Also, highly recommended to take the lodge's boat tour!
Great place to stay to go into the national park. The wildlife boat tour is highly recommended! The bikes seemed to be of good quality. A lot of nice seating areas to watch the river and wildlife. Great personnel, very helpful.
A mere 10 minutes walk to the ferry into the national park, a stay here is incredible value. Relax in a hammock overlooking the river, enjoy some cheap and decent food on the dining terrace. Truly an idyllic spot. Also, if you are going to rent bikes for the park, get them from here, as they are much newer and better - they were in fact building 2 new ones as we left.
The Green Hope Lodge is surely one of the best spots to stay in Cat Tien. Beautiful view over the river that you could enjoy lying lazy in the hammock. Sunset view. Great passion fruit lemonade. Luan is a very nice guy, super English, laid-back, helps organizing almost everything. We wished that we had time to stay longer.
