Every single person I came in contact with went above and beyond customer service!
The house is very luxurious, well build and very well equipped. It is situated just outside Custer in a beautiful surrounding with occasional deer and other wildlife. The host communicates excellent. He made it possible for us to check out two hours later. We are experienced travellers but this was without hesitation one of the best houses we’ve ever been in. Don’t hesitate when you seek a house near Custer State Park. Very recommended!
Beautiful scenery and wildlife.
When I arrived, the owner suggested we visit the Missouri river during sunset and it was beautiful. Perfect swim before the end of the day. The laundry machines were priced well and worked wonderfully. Breakfast was exactly as I expected and the kids enjoyed themselves.
The room and linens were clean and the bathroom was fine, but the mattresses felt like they'd been there a decade - sadly more like hammocks than beds. I was surprised at how uncomfortable they were. Location great, but the rooms were nothing special... especially not for the price.
Breakfast has "hot" waffles, biscuits, white bread, juice, yogurts, coffee. Location is just less than 5 minutes from downtown Custer, 15 minutes to Crazy Horse. 30 minutes to Mt Rushmore. 20 minutes to Lake Sylvan and 30 minutes to Wildlife Loop Road.
We had a 2-day stay at the Clubhouse, where we have often stayed. We loved the free drink tickets upon arrival and the beauty of the back terrace at sunset.
