Old but charming decor. Very clean and well-maintained. Beautiful grounds lit up with tikki torches at night. Small beach perfect for sunsets or taking out the free kyacks. Hammocks, picnic tables, and charcoal grills ready to use. Linda at the front desk went above and beyond to help with my change in travel plans. Morning breakfast consisted of delicious frittas, coffee, yogurt and danishes.

The staff are excellent. The location is perfect. We kayaked and enjoyed the hammocks. We enjoyed the lounge chairs and the spectacular sunset.

The hotel was beautiful, the pools were clean and the sunset hammock area was a little slice of paradise. Most of the staff were extremely friendly and the concierge service was a lovely touch to help book tours. We had an issue with sewage smells in our room and they moved us without issue.

The hotel is very conveniently located between Bradenton and the beautiful Anna Maria Island. It has two family friendly restaurants with great food. From the terrace of restaurant Floridays we saw dolphins plays in the water. Our room was on the port side, which gave us the most beautiful sunrise & sunset views. Our kids loved the salt water pool. The pool is also big enough to do some exercise swimming and has enough chairs and sun beds. There is a bar service at the pool. Breakfast is compliment and amazing!

Great staff that was able to accommodate a late check in. Free kayaks for use. Cute rooms with a small kitchen. Love the “island vibe” of the resort. Great sunset view. Loved the wildlife roaming outdoor l.

The uniqueness of the aqua lodges. They were very well designed and very well fitted out. The view over the lake/sea inlet was lovely to watch from the verandah, seeing the boats coming in and out from sea. the pool was lovely and clean, water was a lovely temp. Watching the sunset from the private beach was beautiful.

loved the high standard of the suite and the property. we were right out onto the pool deck as we stayed in Conch suite and we loved it. enjoyed the rocking chairs on the veranda where I had my morning coffee. the suite had all the facilities we needed for our stay. we appreciated the parking right by the suite so we didn’t need to carry our luggage far. the dock and chairs on the beach provided a good place to watch the sunset. the property felt very exclusive and loved and cared for by the staff. highly recommend.
