At the luxury tent, the units include a patio. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with walk-in shower and free toiletries. All units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle.
The family-friendly restaurant at the luxury tent specialises in African cuisine, and is open for dinner and lunch.
restaurant next to the lake :)
Kaiti
The luxury tents are perched on elevated stilts and feature a veranda with views of the mountain and African plains. Each tent comes equipped with a seating area, safe and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The private bathroom has a shower and free toiletries. A butler service is available upon request. We love the camp setting, but it is very far from the gate, so anticipate miles of bumpy ride to the camp. The room is large. Once the curtain is put down, it is quiet and peaceful. Dinner and Breakfast are just OK quality. There is nothing to do in the evening except sleep. Overall, it is a fine camp in the wild.
Manyara
Located in Manyara, 18 km from Tarangire National Park, TARANGIRE KURO TREETOP LODGE provides accommodation with free WiFi, a garden and a bar.
Towels and bed linen are provided in the luxury tent.

After a long and dusty journey to Karatu, this guest house seemed like a little oasis. We were warmly welcomed by Olivia and the staff with juice before being shown to our rooms. We stayed in the bungalow outside, with a beautiful view of the garden especially sunset. Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast the next morning. We ordered packed lunches, which were substantial for our needs during a long day on safari. Olivia also organised for our laundry to be done.
Just perfect. The hotel with the spacious and modern rooms and stunning view from everywhere (each room, pool and restaurant) made our day. Came back to stay here after the safari again. Perfect for every stage of a vacation. Staff is well trained and meets every request.
A very special place where you wake up surrounded by animals. Luxuary tents. Very friendly staff. Exellent food in a beautiful restaurant building. A perfect place for safaris in Tarengiri, Lake Manyara and Gorongoro Natural Parks.
Second time visited Baobab tented camp. I should return at least one more time here! ) Lovely staff, splendid location, tasty meal! You can start a safari just leaving your tent )
Camping in luxury tents, awesome staff. We enjoyed the „hippo hunting“ at night and even saw a baby hippo! Great breakfast and dinner!
Wow what a place ! As the name indicates it has magnificent sunrises and also sunsets... Inbetween you will probably be on Safari drives 🙂. Dinner was good and tasty, the staff cheerful and helpful. The rooms and facilities are confortable. And the place, high above, with great views over lake Manyara just beatiful. A great alternative to Karatu on the way to Ngongoro or Serengati. Strongly reccomend !!!
Best place to be in Mto Wa Mbu!!! The garden is beautiful, everything has been created with so much love. I enjoyed lying in the hammock and watching the baboons. The hosts are wonderful people, very welcoming and helpful. The food was so delicious. The host Datto is very knowledgeable about wildlife conservation, history, politics and he will never get tired answering your questions. He can help you to organize activities in the region or advice you on how to plan your stay in Tansania. I highly recommend that place, you won't regret!
Great stay! The property is nice and well maintained - and so are the tents. There are a lot of facilities, including a pool, a gym and the possibility to use bikes. You even get a chance to spot wildlife on the camping grounds, including hippos at night. The staff is friendly, the food plenty and fresh. Whenever you have a question or a remark, they'll come to a solution right away.
Beautiful camp just outside of Mto Wa Mbu. Spacious tents (I stayed at the comfort tent) with comfortable beds, shower and toilet. Very friendly personnel who make you feel part of the “family”. Great food at the restaurant. Lots of animals in the garden; monkeys, zebras, wildebeest and sometimes even hippos at night. Guards walk you up and down in the evening for safety. As the camp is in a wildlife area a TAWA permit is required. The camp can organize this. Really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back.
