This place was amazing! Stayed for 2 nights after a safari. Quiet location 30mins out of Arusha town. All the staff were so lovely. The farm was a beautiful oasis filled with banana trees and coffee plants. We had our own private cabin with a hammock. Hot water in the shower, and a nice big bathroom. Breakfast was included, and lunch and dinner were buffet available for $5USD per person. All the food was delicious! Would definitely stay here again.

Great hostel, the room was very big and clean. Had everything I needed - hot shower, wifi. The girls who work there are extremely nice and helpful. I could keep my luggage there while I was on safari. Also, I asked for late breakfast and later check out on the day of my departure, and it was not a problem at all. Good location, walking distance from the center.

It's our first ever visit to Arusha, Tanzania and we were in awe of how beautiful this place is. Reaching the hotel we were superbly impressed by how accommodating and professional the hotel manager Joseph was. He gave us a really lovely room upstairs with a huge balcony. Super comfortable bed with mosquito net, with hot shower, everyday the room is well cleaned. The food was delicious and even the other staff were extremely of excellent service. Great value of money for the nights we stayed in. Well recommended 👌 👏

Nice place, quiet, clean, big comfortable rooms and big garden outside the house. Both owners were very kind and helpful. Breakfasts and dinners were great and big. For us even too much . The kids loved the garden and both dogs (kind dogs, like to cuddle). The living room is very nice too. Beds are great, everything is clean and mosquito nets are intact. But we saw no mosquitos anyway. We recommend city tour with Joshua and he can connect you with local people for example to get a cheap transfer to airport or even a safari company.

Amazing value. Beautiful property. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Hot showers. Clean. They could and should charge more, and it would still be 10 out of 10. I'm glad they don't, though. It's really a nice place to relax in Arusha and is quite close to the center. We wish we had booked our safari through them.

After came back from 5 days hiking and 2 days safari, Osotwa Maasai Hostel feels like home in Arusha to me, quiet and clean, hot shower available, and no matter when I got up in the morning, thanks to my host Peter, he would prepare the breakfast.

First point backpacker hostels it's nice place, hot shower, commune kitchen where you Can cook, nice dormitory with little breakfast include. Johnson is nice Host. Hé is making New floor, New bbq point in Nice and relaxing futur green garden and a nice terrace on the top where you will be able to lay down and take béer in front of sunset

The staff was very welcoming and friendly, especially Sifael. The rooms have mosquito nets and well functioning WiFi and warm water (which you can not find everywhere in Africa). The hotel has a small restaurant where you should order food at least one hour in advance, because there is only one cook who works as hard as he can. I assume most people only stay there for one night before or after going on Safari, so for the price it is absolutely perfect and we would stay there again.
