Sabria
Luxury Camp Dunes Insolites Sabria is set in Sabria and offers a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. This was just a fantastic experience all round. Accomodation (basic in tents but, hey, it's the edge of the Sahara!). Lots of solar PV panels so no generator noise. Food was superb. Staff likewise, Moktar and everyone else. Great facilitating to do an authentic camel ride straight from the camp, and a 4x4 trip and dune-boarding. Also a quad bike organised close to Douz. And ... when we got stuck in the sand Naier and his guys came to "rescue" us. To top it all, turns out Moktar has starred in a David Attenborough BBC documentary on nocturnal fennec foxes, part of the "Mammals" series. We (family trip) cannot recommend Dunes Insolites camp enough.

The place seems wonderful to me; it is truly in the desert. I didn't have high expectations for this place and I was greatly surprised. It is a place that has little, but many details if you really observe. The room I stayed in had everything, it was clean, and it had great decoration. Mohamed (I’m not sure if I’m spelling his name correctly) was excellent, he helped us with some activities in the desert, and he is a very friendly person. Additionally, there are two ducks and a rooster that brightened my visit. The breakfast was simple.
Camp Mars is a must go if you wanna experience the desert and you dont have time for a big tour. The views are stunning and it is a truly unique experience. If you ask yourself how long you should stay: 1night is enough! We also did a short camel ride there which was very nice.
Amazing place very close to the desert. Lovely hosts and staff. We enjoyed the home made dinner. Very comfy and top facilities (A/C, wi-fi, hot running water, etc.).
Very good location in the Sahara desert, with dunes in one side.
We liked that property is located in the vicinity of the desert so it was easy to start with the tours early in the morning. The staff is nice and the breakfast is plentiful.
very good food. on the edge of Sahara desert, 2 min drive to camel stop.
We have had a great time staying at Camp Mars. The camp is in the middle of nowhere, in a remote location in the middle of giant dunes, It is really an alien place. Yet with all the comforts to enjoy a great experience. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. I 100% recommend this place, sunset and sunrise are magic !
The location is just beautiful and peaceful, literally at the gate of the desert. The Maison has a small rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the sunset or just the calm. The host is very nice and helpful
The food is delicious, diverse and well presented! The staff is very welcoming and friendly! The rooms are very clean with cleanness on a daily basis. I enjoyed walking until the "Gate of the Desert" place till sunset (where the annual Festival takes place). Wonderful place to visit, whether alone, couples, or even in groups!
