Epic place!!! Last minute catch gave an absolutely unique experience. Sleeping in the middle of wide river on raft in warm tent was something special. Everything what You need You will find inside from spoons to fishing rods, heaters, sleeping bags and so on. Would highly recommend everyone to experience this unique stay. C'mon it a boat igloo floating on the clear lake surface around 100 meters away from the coast. It just awesome! Hosts are great people, very wellcoming. Their dinner option is just outstanding - try that reindeer ragu, it's so delicious! And of course getting to your "room" using a pedal catamaran boat is sooooo cool! Go for it. Go for it in winter to see northern lights without anyone disturbing you.
Kalix
Set in Kalix in the Norrbotten region, Frozen Sea Aurora Igloo features a patio and garden views. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The luxury tent has a picnic area and a sauna. We had the most wonderful time in the Frozen Sea Aurora Igloo. Our hosts were so accomodating, friendly and thoughtful. The breakfast was delivered fresh each day and there was plenty of variety and options. The beautiful hosts even treated the family to lovely Christmas gifts as it was leading up to Christmas. It was the perfect location to view the northern lights, even when the aurora alerts were not expecting any! The remoteness (but still only 5 minutes to town) made it the perfect location to view them from the comfort of our warm igloo.

The apartement lies on the top floor of a house with amazing views over the area. Great sunsets from the roof terrase. The apartement is spacious, clean and has everyhing one needs. The kitchen/dinning room/living room is confortable and with lots of natural light. The sleeping room has a door to go out to the roof terrace. If we come back to travel in this area, we will definetely come back for a longer stay. The house lies on a peninsula over a huge lake. The owner is very nice.
Nice hotelroom, the breakfast was excellent and the view was beautiful from the breakfast room. The sauna was good and had beautiful view of sunset. The location was excellent.
Free breakfast and dinner was excellent. Comfortable accommodation and a great stopping point for our trip around the Wilderness Road.
We loved everything about our stay from the interior decor to the hospitality, the hot showers and FANTASTIC food. Shared bathrooms not an issue either as always seemed to be available even when every room was being used. The staff at the property were clearly happy working there and their enthusiasm exuded to us guests. Can’t wait to come back and see you all. Location perfect too!
Superb cabin with a superb view near the frozen lake! Small cabin but it had everything that we needed. You can change the position of the beds with a remote, in order to see better the lake or the aurora, very cool! Very good location in the wilderness! Would definitely recommend to others, really lovely cabin!!!
Staying at Camp Caroli in Kiruna was like stepping into a winter wonderland, but with the warmest welcome you could imagine, all thanks to Stephen, our host. He's not just friendly; he goes out of his way to make sure you have an amazing time. On the safari tour, we spotted some incredible wildlife. And Stefan even showed us around the upcoming Camp Caroli 2.0, which sounds like it's going to be an epic place for family fun under the aurora. Honestly, if you're after the best aurora views, this is where you want to be.
Great place to stay for adventures in Abisko. The place feels more like a homy cabin in the wilderness. The restaurant have a nice ambient atmosphere and food. Breakfast is served in the same place, good choices to choose from. We stayed in a superior room, these rooms are separated from the main build and it's a nice feature, a little more private.
Everything! From the moment we enter the lobby till we (unfortunately) leave. The staff, the atmosphere of feeling welcome, the food in top class! Outside the grand nature with wildlife so close by. All reasons why we come back again and again.
Restaurant food was amazing and huge portions with salad buffet and deserts apart of that. Breakfast was also very good, more than expected. Staff is always very nice and helpful. Very useful locker room. Rooms nice and quiet. Sauna available and great walking areas starting at the spot. Also nice library with interesting books about culture and geography of the region.
