The location is nice, with a view to the Lima river. Though a bit to the side, the centre is within about 10 minutes' walk. The staff is friendly. And it is quiet. Breakfast is fine, though you can't say very rich, but more than enough. The room was spacious (double room with a bathroom), and a nice balcony as well. No air conditioning but a powerful fan did a good job. The only thing that bothered me were the mosquitoes. A mosquito net somehow would make the place perfect for budget travellers. I recommend it.

The swimming pool is a gem! Friendly staff. Nice garden with beautiful trees, grapes, flowers, hammock, grill.

Absolutely stunning views. Don't miss staying here! Watch the sunset and the sunrise over the entire city of Viana do Castelo and the ocean. Albergue was clean, good bathrooms, good check-in system, well-stocked kitchen.

The three level apartment was huge and fantastic, with multiple bedrooms and everything you could need. Private pool with a poolside cabana, kitchen and barbecue. Multiple balconies with sunset views of the national park. Private off street parking. Plus the owner, Bernadino, welcomed us and showed us around - such a friendly, knowledgeable guy and so helpful. One of the highlights of our month in Portugal. We would definitely rebook again.

Easy to find. Beautiful property, lovely sunny outdoor area with pool and loungers. Very well equipped kitchen, everything you need to cook a full meal. Sparkling clean bathrooms and nice hot shower. Comfortable beds. Washing machine available on site. The owner is a delightful lady and speaks multiple languages - ideal for a Camino walker.

Beautiful place and surroundings, photos don’t do it justice! Really lovely and welcoming host who made us feel at home and really looked after us after a long day of walking. Comfortable room and really nice hot showers. Outdoor sink and plenty of washing lines in the sun for washing our clothes. We had a wonderful pilgrim meal including olive oil and wine which were homemade. Amazing value for money. Really relaxing and wonderful stay, would return!

The breakfast here are absolutely fantastic. The family offer platters of delicious chopped fruits, home made cakes, fresh omelettes, meats, cheeses, freshly squeezed orange juice...it really is impressive ..and you are welcome to make rolls for lunch. The swimming pool is lovely, the sun beds are comfortable. The architecture is very impressive... the materials used are high quality and it's great modern architecture used to restore an old barn. The location is quiet and peaceful.

Very friendly owner, and lovely conversations with other pilgrims. The hammock and sun beds were so nice to relax after hiking. If I hadn’t booked another place for the following day, I would have loved to have taken a rest day here. There’s also the option to be taken to the store, and also cold beers and wine for sale at the property- very welcome after a long day on the camino.
