The property has an outdoor dining area. All the little details, the location is no brained 10mins out of town and idea is amazing concept. Highly recommend for a couples weekend away. They thought of everything u would have in a 5 star hotel!

We loved walking around the land up to the vineyard & to see the sheep. The location is idyllic, an absolute 5 star stay

The seclusion of the pod and so so dreamy. The view and sunset was stunning. The facilities are top notch. Gorgeous hot shower and the bed so comfortable. Curtain options if you wish but we stargazed all night. BBQ for full on cooking but highly recommend the Long Lunch at the vineyard before you head up to the pod.
Quiet room with mountain view (breathtakingly beautiful at sunset!); good supply of toiletries including hand & body lotion (much needed by dry skin after a wilderness trek!); guest laundry with credit card-operated washing machines and dryers
Suzanne was a wonderful host, enjoyed conversation-Love the quiet, the bush, the wildlife, the general ambiance off the surrounds-A great place to relax and remove yourself from the pace of life-Off grid, solar, waterpower-Wooden structure like a ski lodge-wonderful verandahs overlook the ocean-Excellent kitchen and communal facilities-Were met and assisted with our luggage.
Well positioned between Franz Joseph and Greymouth. Friendly host. Very clean. Nice pub next door with excellent lamb tacos. Nice short walk opposite to a deserted bay. Great if a nice sunset.
Our second visit there. Great view of the sunset last year. This year, the clouds covered the sunset we were looking forward to. But we had glimpses of the wildlife-a kekeru was feeding on a tree when we just checked in. Location offered us privacy but very near to Fox Glacier activity center. Short drive to Lake Matheson.
A very quiet location with beautiful views of the mountains & surrounds. It feels like it is in the middle of nowhere, yet it is only a very short distance from the Rd. We sat on the veranda with a glass & lapped up the ever evolving sunset - WOW! Nice place, private, comfortable bed with tea & coffee facilities and some basic crockery & cutlery for your use

We loved our stay. We used it as a bass for West coast wilderness trail. The wee pods have everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Loved the accessibility of beach. Great place to light a fire and watch the sunset.
Tired of van life - Moeraki Beach Motel was the perfect place for a hot shower, cosy stay and good sleep. Wicked view of the bay from the verandah and short walking distance to stumble home from the tavern : )
