Absolutely beautiful green property with the kindest hosts! We felt so welcome and cared for during our stay. Yurt was very cozy, quaint and well equipped. Off-grid experience, we slept so well! Comfortable, close to the glow worms cave (around 20 minutes driving). Beautiful view from the dome which is well decorated. Everything you need is there. We loved it!!

The location was absolutely stunning, right on the beachfront with breathtaking views of both the sunset and sunrise. The room's decor was incredibly cozy, featuring high-quality appliances. The bathroom was spacious, and the outdoor deck area with seating was perfect for relaxation. We would definitely return.
I loved our waterfront room. The weather was exceptional, so the verandah was put to maximum use. We always enjoy the breakfast, especially in winter with the welcomimg fire.. The staff always manage the perfect ballance of friendliness and efficiency.
The location was picture perfect, right beside the beach. Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Indoors, we appreciated the wi-fi and kitchen eqpt especially extras like Fly Spray! The beds were very comfortable and nice to have the heat pump during winter. Staff were very nice and flexible. We would definitely stay here again.
The 3 bedroom apartment was well appointed spacious with beautiful sunset views. We were a group of friends who did the knife workshop close by and this place more than exceeded our expectations as it was the perfect place to catch up chill and enjoy each other's company after weeks apart. Thank you for the pleasant stay and we can highly recommend this place.
We loved the beautiful view from our unit. We stayed in unit 1 a ground floor corner unit and had beautiful views of sunsets and sunrises from our lounge and bedroom.
The location was wonderful sitting on the veranda looking at the sunset then the clear night sky with visible Milky Way.
Brilliant Backpackers. Outdoor-indoor communal areas has a very cool vibe and is well equipped. Communal area to hang washing too (or dry out tents etc). Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful at checkin and checkout. Rooms are four beds to a room, so no overcrowding in the dorms themselves. Comfy bed. Super clean. Hot showers. Great vibes for travellers and hikers, lots of Te Araroa hikers around.
