It was a really nice nature related stay, but with every comfort (A/C, fridge, outdoor kitchen etc.) any other accommodation would offer. Besides, the most beautiful sea was just a two minute walk away and in five minutes by car you were in the city (Castro or Marina di Marittima) where you could socialize and get everything you need. Elio is a very friendly and courteous host, who made my stay a lot easier, except for the rooster in the morning but I got used to it very quickly. 👍🏻 thx 🙏

The pool and the gardens are stunning. Our private terrace with a hammock was spacious and relaxing. Overall this hotel offers a peaceful, nature-immersed experience. Some of the products are of high-quality, such as the welcome treat and the soaps.
Large and comfortable interior. Comfortable, cozy, spacious veranda. Authentic and beautiful place and environment. .
I can’t tell you as no one came to let us in and no one answered any of the phone numbers. Leaving us stranded. The place was completely deserted. If it’s closed, people need to be informed!
Palazzo Papaleo was an excellent place to stay. The room was a great size, plenty of cupboard space and a great sized bathroom. The hotel was located in an excellent position in the middle of Old Town. The room was nice and quiet but you were in the heart of Old Town which was really handy. The roof top bar had the best view and lovely to watch sunsets. The staff were always super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying at Palazzo Papaleo when you visit Otranto.
Francesco was a great host! He provided a lot of recommendations and was always there for us. The room was spacious, very clean and with great commodities. The property is gorgeous and great to enjoy the beautiful sunset.
We stayed for 5 nights with two little kids and we enjoyed every moment there. Very friendly owner. It was great to have the small pool for refreshment, having our dinner at the veranda, and the apartment has everything we need. The location is easy to reach other attractions by car. We will definitely return if we’d want to visit that area again.
The Trulli experience, the shampoo, the pool natural, the sunset and sunrise by the pool
The apartment is very close to the city center. It has a spacious living room. Windows are equipped with mosquito nets, which is important because they were all around after sunset and before sunrise. Groceries and a bakery are just at the corner. Parking is free of charge and we could always find an empty place. The internet was very good, with high speed. The check-in and check-out went smoothly.
Location in the middle of the historic center and a few minutes walking distance from the city beach. Supermarket right around the corner. Terrace spacious with seaview and perfect to have a coffee in the morning or a beer at sunset. Management and staff extremely friendly, responsive and accomodating. Free sun beds at G beach (Punta della Suina) if you say you stay at Elamar. Silent at night.
