Its good location to explore the hampi..the building near by viruska temple and the best part is roof view is so amazing for sunset and sunrise..and the staff is too good.
The rooms are great, ‘Safari like’, the lodge is small, I.e. family-like.
The hotel is new, clean and had hot showers.
Gopi plantation is a magic place surrounded by green banana trees, a peaceful river and astonishing monolithic rocks (best spots for sunset watching). This and the hammocks in the garden make Gopi the perfect place to chill during the searing heat of noon . The staff is lovely, always available in helping out, the relaxed vibes and the tasty food make you feel at home. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. I highly recommend this place!
For us, Hirvate Estate was like an oasis in the wilderness. On arrival the first thing we saw was an elegant manor house and close by, four charming fully equipped bungalows, one of which was ours. We enjoyed the quiet relaxation of being there and especially the coffee (his!) and treats brought to us on the on the verandah...breakfast was great too!! Exploring their working coffee and pepper plantation was an experience in itself.
Great location, very close to the safari point and overlooks the jungle. Lot of wildlife movement at night times. Spotted elephants and bear right outside the stay.
The location was absolutely surreal. The maintenance, design and çomfort of the luxury tents was great. The staff are very responsive and very amicable. Non-veg varities of food was good.
Host family were very kind, always on hard to answer questions and give information. Bus stop right outside property which runs regularly and takes you right into Madikeri in less than 15 mins. Comfortable bed, hot showers, mosquitoes, balcony to watch sunset. Decent breakfast with fresh fruit and coffee. Bottled water every day! Would highly recommend.
the service and food was exceptional. Their efforts towards upholding sustainable practices is commendable. Sujith the naturalist made our stay all the more memorable with his storytelling of the wildlife there. and of course the safari was an amazing experience with this wonderful person. Kaav is a small property, very tastefully done. extremely peaceful and a perfect place to unwind. Divya Pant was a great host and made us feel very comfortable. kudos to the entire team. I would love to go back again.
