Just 5 km from Hatzeva, Ras Hasita offers rustic accommodation in tents in the middle of the Arava Desert. The Gidron Stream is about a 10-minute drive away. It's a quiet location, perfect for travelers (who have a car). The rooms have AC which is a must during most seasons of the year in this part of Israel. The dining area is big and comfortable, as well as the rest of the common areas. The whole place is clean and inviting and the staff is terrific. We love this place, visited before and will surely visit again.

It was a perfect place for my friends and I to hang out for the weekend. The tent was warm and cozy even though it was cold and rainy outside. The kitchen is over equipped (loved the orange juicer). The various sitting areas were great and the host was perfect!!!

I arrived late and instantly liked the place, ended up staying for a week. The bed in the dorm was very comfortable. The hangout areas, kitchen, and bathrooms were great and clean. The desert around is beautiful and it's a nice walk to anywhere in town and the crater. One unexpected surprise was all the new friends I made, thanks to the place being prone to people interacting with each other instead of with technology.

The breakfest was well served with eggs, pita breads, cheese, and vegatabales. The fireplace kept working and coffee and tea was served continousely. If we had any problems Shtiuie took care of them!

We stayed there for 2 night and we really liked the place. The location is perfect for chilling and relaxing. The tent was beautiful and clean. The breakfast was good!
