Such a beautiful little spot. The cabin has everything you need. Such peaceful surroundings upon the pond which made for a wonderful night's sleep.

I loved the history and charm about the house. The rooms were beautiful and very big. No TV in room which I considered great. Everyone staying was commenting on how special they thought their rooms were 😁 - this is also another feature; guests mingle in the kitchen and dining area quite freely as they make breakfast, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The garden space out the back was great, and a lovely surprise to find a couple of hammocks by the trees. Ross is a welcoming host, and gave a wonderful tour of the property.
Staff was very friendly and kind, from reception to the housekeeping. The room was very clean and spacious. We loved our breakfast. For dinner, we went to Stake House, the food was amazing, and the service was very friendly and fast. I think between our starter and main, we only had about 10 minutes to wait. The same happened with the desert, so we asked to take it to our room, and our waitress brought it securely packed, with spoons and napkins. Great attention to detail.
