The room was comfortable with a mosquito net and fan. The food was delicious with free breakfast and coffee/tea! Overall amazing.

Nice spot, relaxed place for a few days. Very good food. You can use the canoes for free. Hot shower. The ferry brings you almost to your room.
A good breakfast, clean and comfortable room, English speaking staff, nice hot shower, good range of TV channels. All very efficient and pleasant. A successful stay in a hotel a little bit distant from the town, but well placed for the ferry pier. I was impressed.
Lovely wee cabin right on the reef a short walk to Iboih beach. Friendly helpful staff, comfy bed, hammock, kettle, fridge and air con. Best restaurant in town with large portions at reasonable prices. Chilled vibes, would love to come back one day.
Santi, the host, is one of the most welcoming people I have met. We did Zumba classes together and she always helped if I ever needed anything. The bungalow is lovely, a hammock to lie in on the porch, a mosquito net for the bed and a water station in your room. I had a great time staying here!

Borja and Yuyun are wonderful hosts in their homestay. Located on a tropical rocky beach that has abundant coral, fish life and visiting turtles. Comfortable rooms and bedding, clean bathroom facilities with quality tapware. It's a great place to unwind, to be mesmerised by the hordes of magical local butterflies in the garden, or to rock off to sleep to the gentle sounds of waves on the veranda hammock or lounge. This is a lovely new property which have nice large balconies off all their rooms with fabulous views of Lake Toba and great sunset views.It is spotlessly clean with a lovely bathroom and hot showers.Great value with breakfast included with lovely helpful owners.
Everything about Toba sunset was just great, the room was so large and comfy with a mosquito net around the bed. There was a kettle and coffee. The bathroom was really lovely with a walk in hot shower placed so that the whole bathroom didn't get wet and then there was a huge balcony looking out over the lake. The owner is very helpful, she organised bike hire for me, did some laundry and also dropped me back the jetty free of charge on the day I left, even though I needed to be there at 07.40.
The View guest house has stunning views overlooking Air Manis. Wonderful, friendly, helpful host. Clean rooms and a good breakfast. Walking distance to beachside village and Air Manis. Also possible to walk into town along a quiet cement trail with lovely trees etc. (pedestrians and the odd motorbike only). You can see monkeys along the trail and also some interesting Chinese graves. The guesthouse is in the perfect spot. Beautiful sunsets from verandah and front rooms.
