Lovely site. Nice and quiet. Stayed in one of the shepherds huts and just perfect. Highly recommend a must if visiting Bath for a few days.

We had a lovely breakfast at The Trough with lots of options although there are kitchen facilities there if you are there when they don’t serve a breakfast. Beautiful views and sunsets over the fields. Also very nice toiletries provided.
I really enjoyed my stay. Sitting by the stream relaxing and listening to the birds and out wildlife. You could have a fire pit going. It was a nice touch of marsh mellows and skews on your bed to toast on the fire pit. There is a pond for wild swimming if that is what you like to do. It was really nice getting back to basics.
Beautiful grounds and location. Children’s playground was amazing and the cafe and swimming pool was an added bonus too. Excellent for Longleat Safari park. Breakfast was lovely and we like the addition of the guest kitchen areas for refrigerating things and preparing a picnic.
Staff were brilliant. Bed was nice and soft. Nice hot shower.
This is a fantastic place to stay. The family that run the hotel were so warm and welcoming. The food was great and they absolutely went out of their way to make our stay extra special. Highly recommend. The location is also beautiful. A gorgeous lake with lots of wildlife. My kids loved trying to spot all the wild rabbits. We will definitely stay again.
Beautiful lodge with perfect location for visiting the area such as Bath & Longleat Safari Park. Quiet location with ample parking and hassle free check in and out, couldn't have been easier. One suggestion would be to possibly add a coffee machine as being a coffee lover it would have been lovely to sit and watch the wildlife in the morning with a nice coffee but it didn't detract from my enjoyment and I'd certainly come again. Highly recommend.
We loved the lodge it was lovely & clean ,the cafe on site was always busy. we was not far from cheddar gorge.which is always lovely.The tv had Netflix, utube if you did not like what was on tv .a good hot shower x2 tiolets .seating on the veranda to relax on.
We stayed at the Lighthouse during a visit to Longleat Safari Park. The location for this was perfect and there were lots of nearby pubs and restaurants for dinner. The grounds of the hotel are vast and very scenic, with large wildlife ponds and a small park that the kids loved. Very picturesque location, where the room was great and staff very polite and helpful.
The staff were really helpful and gave us loads of local information, parking is on site and the location was brilliant. Having the veranda to eat at while watching amazing sunsets is a nice touch. I would use this hotel again and definitely recommend.
