Friendly staff, clean rooms and hot shower
The restaurant is excellent value and super comfortable, food was really nice and the staff could not be more helpful. The manager was really friendly and easy to chat with , he called before our arrival to ask if we were planning to eat in the restaurant as it was a group of 13 he wanted to make sure we could be accommodated , he went out his way to help us with gluten free and dairy free requirements, actually went away to source and research some of the ingredients to ensure the we could have “Free From “ deserts . First class all round 👍
Handy for Stirling Castle, the safari park, the kelpies and the Falkirk wheel which we visited with our granddaughter.
Cosy, and a good piece of land for walking the dog or just having a walk round. Clean and tidy and even added extras like home made pancakes, milk, orange juice and eggs upon arrival. Short walk/drive away from nearby village. Many different places to walk and see wildlife and the neighbouring llamas.
We love this place. This was our second visit. It is a great stop on your way up to the Highlands or even as a base to explore Scotland. It isn't the Ritz, so if you want luxury this isn't for you, however if you like somewhere cosy, at a decent price with a nice hot shower and a friendly host then look no further!

Loved the location of the cabin on site. Sitting on the veranda watching the loch and lovely wildlife was just perfect. We took another couple who hadn't been to Scotland before, and they fell in love with the location and the beautiful scenery.
the warm welcome, the bottle of fizz on ice, the soft lighting, the clean apartment, the reasonable price of our stay, the milk and orange juice in the fridge, the sweet hamper, the hot tub cleaned daily. the wildlife that would visit each day/eve… rabbits squirrels… our stay was perfect and we would definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely return, the location is great too for the Falkirk wheel, the kelpies as well as Stirling castle and Blair Drummond safari park… it’s not that far from Glasgow and Edinburgh either.
