We stayed in the Safari Tents and oh my, it was one of the best places we've stayed. The tents were fully equipped! The beds were SO comfortable! The kitchen bit had EVERYTHING you'd need! The toilets and showers were first class! Always so so clean!

Friendly staff, clean rooms and hot shower
The restaurant is excellent value and super comfortable, food was really nice and the staff could not be more helpful. The manager was really friendly and easy to chat with , he called before our arrival to ask if we were planning to eat in the restaurant as it was a group of 13 he wanted to make sure we could be accommodated , he went out his way to help us with gluten free and dairy free requirements, actually went away to source and research some of the ingredients to ensure the we could have “Free From “ deserts . First class all round 👍
Room was very comfortable and spacious with a surprisingly decent sized bathroom with nice hot shower. Very cozy with nice view and plenty space between each pod with outdoor seating.
Loved the look of the outside of the castle. The room was comfortable with plenty of space for luggage. There was a nice view into the garden from the large window of our room. The bed was comfortable a there was a nice hot shower. The restaurant served a nice meal at night. The breakfast was sufficient.
The location was ideal for exploring places. A great night sleep in a comfy bed. A hot shower, and a hearty breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for money. Looking forward to returning
Owners made us very welcome and were very friendly and helpful. Location is lovely, with river at bottom of garden, a haven for birds and other wildlife. We were delighted to see a kingfisher. Plenty of choice for breakfast and we loved the homemade flapjacks which were on offer to keep us going during the day. Highly recommend!
Everything....location, novel idea of safari tent, views, so much land surrounding the tents, facilities all really new and everything was in great condition. The hosts/communication were all fantastic. We really enjoyed going back to basics and spending time with the kids with no TV, phones etc to distract them. We played good old fashioned games, had a barbecue and enjoyed the views. The tents are brilliant. I would highly recommend them - we are already planning another trip back.
We love coming back to Wellsfield. Watching the sunset from the veranda (wrapped in a blanket at this time of year!) is just perfect.
