Wonderful experience! A must see if you can appreciate nature and all of its aspects. I am a resident at Tenerife and will come back with friends to show them what a spectacular place this is. This place needs to be shared in great company. Alone I liked it as well. A lot of hard work has been put in building this beautiful location.
Don't hesitate. Just book and enjoy the stars without any pollution of lights in the vast area of Arico Viejo. I would certainly recommend renting a car to appreciate every village and combine your trip with the south coast of Tenerife.
Also I recommend arriving by sunset. The drive up to this accommodation is spectacular due to its wild scenery of the volcanic structures, this island was made of. Book, enjoy like I did and step into the world of a Yurt.
Bad reviews on Booking from before 2022 I would definitely ignore. On the Canary Islands tourism has been hit quite brutally, during pandamic years and post pandamic times. Worse than in many other places in Spain. Just book and check for yourself. This place feels like glamping! Shower, toilet, kitchen facilities, bedroom and the diverse outdoors terraces are easy to enjoy.
Güimar
Located just 23 km from Museo militar regional de Canarias, Yurt in Avocado garden features accommodation in Güimar with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as full-day security. This luxury tent offers free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 45 km from Golf del Sur. Very quiet and peaceful easy parking. Will visit again

Location was good. It was a 15 minute+ walk to the beach but not too far. Apartment was really good. The best part is the private terrace. Two sun beds and seating at a table for 4. Extendable sunshade so you could be in sun or shade and sun on the terrace from about 10am to sunset. Didn't use the pool but did go to the beach. There is noise from the road as expected but it wasn't too bad. Just not super quiet. We would stay again
We had an extra long weekend as four friends here in Jan 2024. The facilities in the main part of the hotel were good, clean and there were plenty of sun beds. The reception and lobby areas were colourful and modern. The pools were very clean and as it was a half board option, there was a huge choice of food at both breakfast and dinner. An enjoyable stay. The Casa Del Mar rooftop bar was extra nice for sunset.
A spacious and well appointed apartment which was absolutely spotless. We had a large balcony with stunning sea and sunset views! The staff were exceptional and couldn’t do enough for you. Lovely pool and bar area, and sun beds were always available at any time of the day. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
Great value for money. Apartment has everything you need, including sunset view on the ocean on the large terrace, and a big pool with plenty sun beds. Mattresses were comfy also for the kids. There are a few restaurants on walking distance and easy parking in front of the premises. A friendly cat completed this all to make it a great stay!
We loved its location, the amount of outdoor space sun terrace,the 2 balconies with sun beds . The convenience of having a washing machine,and it’s so close to beaches bars and restaurants,not forgetting the clubhouse for drinks and food if you’re feeling lazy and you don’t want to go far just go downstairs.Sunset Harbour is a lovely complex .
Really enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Harbour club. It’s located near the sea front between two nice beaches with lots of restaurants. On site there are two main pools, a lots of sun beds that are well managed, a well stocked mini market and two good restaurants. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with very comfy beds. Highly recommended.
this is a lovely tranquil place to enjoy a few peaceful days on the island. the staff is the friendliest. the view from the tents is great for staring at the sunset.

The apartment was well designed, recently refurbished, sparkling clean, very spacious. We loved the huge beautiful terrace with barbecue, a balinese bed, sun beds, a cosy hammock. Everything, hammock included has been washed and immaculately clean. There was a washing machine and a drying rack in a small patio adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen. There’s a big flat screen TV with Netflix. The hotel has 3 swimming pools with seawater and sun beds around them. 3 min walk to Aqualand and 5 min drive to Siam Park. We loved this place.
Breakfast was fantastic. Great choice & quality & nice touches like freshly squeezed juice . Staff were helpful & friendly on the most part as you would expect . We loved the lagoon pool by the sea front with the DJ - plenty of sun beds available . Whole hotel and room immaculate. Sunset at the 16th bar is highly recommended for sunset & we enjoyed all the cocktails ! General vibe of the hotel is great and we loved it .
