I loved everything about my stay. The staff I talked to were all so friendly, especially those at the reception and the woman working at the grocery store. I was almost shocked at how clean the bathrooms and showers were, especially considering how many guests the campground has. The tent I stayed in had everything I needed and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. I also especially liked the hangout areas with the hammocks, where you can watch the sunset over the water. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely stay here again, and I will recommend it to anyone walking the Camino del Norte.

Set in Santillana del Mar, within 31 km of Santander Port and 32 km of Puerto Chico, Kampaoh Santillana del Mar offers accommodation with a bar as well as free private parking for guests who drive. A comfy way to have the camping experience, without the formalities of a hotel. We really enjoyed our short time there and the facilities were very clean, much more than other places with similar shared spaces.
