The luxury tent features family rooms. The place truly felt like an escape from reality. You get to enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the morning and a complimentary bottle of wine with some s’mores at the fire pit in the evening while enjoying a panoramic view of San José, both in the day and night. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very delicious and fulfilling. The jacuzzi with a view and an aesthetic boho-style open-concept bathroom adds a sense of zen and peace. The domes have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including Netflix. I was stopping in San José for only one night, but I wish I stayed there longer because of this property.

We stayed one night at Quimera Glamping because we were traveling from Puerto Viejo to Corcovado.
we couldnt find Quimera Glamping first because Google Maps showed a wrong adress. But the Staff was very helpful and called us and gave us directions and even send us the Location on WhatsApp and even stayed in late because we had a massive Traffic Jam on our way and were delayed about 2 hours. The Jacuzzi was very much welcomed at the end of that very long day (10hrs drive) and really helped us relaxing and getting us ready for the next day when we drove on!
The Tents were very clean and had a great view! Definetly worth getting up for the sunrise!
There was even a security Guard at night, so we felt very secure. The Breakfast was included and very good.
Muchas Gracias!
San Isidro

This luxury tent offers free private parking and luggage storage space. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. This place is very unique. It is a project created some years ago ona huge property in the mountains. It combines a kombucha production, a hospitality x yoga retreat and soon a community of expats. We loved the quality of the amenities (showers are out of this world, tents are comfy and restaurant very well designed), the food (local products) and the super friendly staff.

I absolutely love our stay in casa Marlui You will feel like you’re visiting your family. Hosts are amazing and will make you feel very welcomed. You will enjoy spectacular sunsets over the city, delicious breakfast and a good conversation. If you’re not planning to stay around San Jose to explore Irazú , it’s a great place
Super clean, well equipped, a hot shower(!!!!). The bed was really comfy too. The lady who gave us the key was friendly and helpful and advised us where to change money to dollars too! The area is absolutely fine in daylight, although as mentioned in many reviews not the most beautiful part of town. It was perfect location as we were getting a 6am bus up to Nicaragua.
The room was very good - nice views, comfortable beds, clean bathroom with very hot shower.
Fabulous setting and views, great rooms, good food , very helpful staff. Amazing wildlife, particularly the birds. Super jacuzzi!
Nice hotel, good location, comfortable bed, clean sheets and a hot shower. What more could you want!! We booked to come back again
Very central, a lot is going on. Big, clean room with a hot shower and AC. Nice breakfast.
Best hot shower of any hotel we have stayed in CR.
Big house with all the necessary things. Beautifull backyard, chill zone. Rooms were exceptionally clean. The shower next to our room had a hot shower. There is a big kitchen. The staff were very helpfull. Applauses to then
Great cabina in the forest....excellent views and trails down to the river from outside the front door. Luckily we were given a cabina with cooking facilities which was a great bonus. Plenty of blankets and hot shower! Would recommend anyone to stay in this peaceful forest for a few nights away from the heat
Friendly, cheap, good vibes, all amenities you need except laundry (although I didn’t ask, just didn’t see any signs about laundry) and a swimming pool with a lovely chill garden and serving nice food and drinks, hammocks, tables, sun beds etc. also sofas indoors with a tv and Netflix. Beds have two USB ports for charging, reading light and privacy curtains. A perfect oasis before and after backpacking! Would definitely stay again
