San Pedro de Atacama
Located within 7.8 km of Piedra del Coyote and 28 km of Termas de Puritama in San Pedro de Atacama, Glamping Dunas del sol provides accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The luxury tent features family rooms. Absolutely HUGE tents - plenty of space for everything you need. It's also only a short walk to the main part of the town (10-15 minutes) - which works out pretty well as it's very easy to park. Check-in was really smooth and the hosts were very accomodating. Tents also had a heater and AC so despite the extreme elements, you don't really feel it in the tents. Just a FYI it is essentially in someone's backyard, so it's not like it's very remote/out in nature, but that wasn't an issue for us.

Great cost benefit, beds were good and clean, hot shower and the receptionist was super kind and helpfull. It was a 15min walk from the main street (Caracoles) but in the way it´s a GREAT bakery (La Franchuteria)!
The room and the whole Atacama lodge have a charming atmosphere. The buildings look like modernised versions of the homes of the Atacamenios people. The beds are comfortable. The view of the Licancabur Vulcano is beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset. Our host, Franklin, was fantastic! He made excellent coffee and breakfast and advised us on our daily excursions.
Is just a green oasis of peace. Spotless clean, fully equipped kitchen, close to everything, table soccer, vintage videogames, hammocks and even a pool!!! They give great informations about everything you may need in the area. Patricia is simply the best, she was able to organize all the tours you can possibly imagine in few minutes. Highly recommended!!!
The hotel is very nice, a little oasis in the desert. The facilities are extremely clean and the rooms are good size. The heating in the room is needed given the cold nights in San Pedro! The breakfast was delicious and if you have an early tour, they can arrange a breakfast brown bag for you. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. The hotel is located just ten minutes from the main street in San Pedro, Caracoles.
In simple words: Everything! we enjoyed a nice time in the authentic Adobe house. We loved the natural materials and remote location. at night it’s super silent and in the morning you wake up with a view on the Mountains and Volcano. The house has everything one needs for a long term stay in the desert. From cooking utensils to BBQ equipment, everything is there and the contact with the hosts was just brilliant!
Great kitchen, private rooms, nice outdoor space to chill. The family who runs it is very lovely. Hot showers and daily housekeeping.
Loved our stay - such a nice room, very warm and cosy for the winter, the owner is so sweet and friendly. Great shared outdoor area with hammock and kitchen. Comfortable sleep. Great location for the 3am bus to Uyuni (5 min walk).
The room was very small and inside it was very hot. There appears to be no way to ventilate the room appropriately. The only window is very small and there is no mosquito net, thus if you leave it open during the night you get mosquitoes. There was an electric fan that helped but was very noisy. The service was excellent, though. And I enjoyed the pool after a long day in the desert/
I stayed for a week and loved it! The location is perfect, the rooms are comfortable and super clean, and the breakfast is really rich. There is a lovely garden with hammocks, which is perfect to relax in after a busy day exploring the desert. The best part are the staff - all very friendly and accommodating, they helped me with a hundred different things. I was there for New Years and they put up a party for us, with free food and drinks. Very grateful!
