The units at the luxury tent come with a seating area. A patio with an outdoor dining area and lake views is offered in all units. At the luxury tent, the units have a private bathroom and bed linen.
Guests at the luxury tent will be able to enjoy activities in and around Merville, like cycling, fishing and canoeing. Smith Lake Farm features a children's playground and a picnic area.

We wanted to be out of town and in nature. Fairways fitted our wishes perfectly. The kitchen was great so I cooked in the evenings. We saw a lot of wildlife in the area including deer and a Garter snake (non-venomous).
Beautiful relaxing location surrounded by wildlife. Clean and comfortable accommodation with all required amenities. Close to hiking and swimming spots and a great little farm shop. Great host!
The two suites we rented were absolutely stunning. We had the entire upper floor to ourselves, including a billiard table. There is also a deck on which we could enjoy the sunset -- with a glass of Cowichan Valley wine, of course. David took very good care of us, ensuring we had enough for breakfast, and otherwise remaining in the background in case we had any questions (we didn't). And yes, the beds were very comfortable.
Location perfect! Watching sunrise + sunset just from your valcony! Excellent views, you can see the whole view of the beautiful ocean just right there from your hotel , we love it! Everyone had fun ❤️❤️❤️
the suite and the property, the location right by the beach, facilities- fire pits, bbq, reception with hot chocolate, tea/coffee, surf shop, bike rental shop, food shack, coffee spot, sauna. the private boardwalk to pettinger point for sunset was an amazing spot. felt very safe. suite was fully stocked with stove, microwave, fridge. from our living room, we could see the waves - highly recommend. our favourite was the bathrobes provided!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Darlene is a marvelous host and serves a wonderful breakfast. Her garden is outstanding and the property is a short walk to the shore, where you can watch cruise ships go by and enjoy the sunsets. It's also a short drive to Neck Point and Pipers Lagoon Parks, which are both worth a visit for walks, sea life (a pod of Orcas swam by!) and swimming.
Beautiful location, amazing apartment and views. Quiet with lots of wildlife that we spotted from our windows.
The view is incredible!!! Such a peaceful location with amazing wildlife, the garden, bathroom, bed, hot tub, fire pit and location. It was immaculate, spacious, airy, bright and the little touches such as local artwork and locally made shower products made the experience even more perfect! The owner Chris and Carolyn are such fantastic hosts and couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was seamless. Very friendly, hospitable and great attention to detail! A must stay and we will certainly be back!
