This is an exquisite piece of heaven on earth! Wow, what an amazing experience. Rowan and Gaylin were fantastic hosts - they were warm and friendly and made us feel right at home. The 10-15 minute walk to the thatch lapa lookout over the beach is worth it. We wouldn't change anything - and will definitely be back!

What a true Wilderness Gem and Hideout spot! I booked this stay for my birthday and as a breakaway from my busy work schedule. I was craving a peaceful and "Zen" change of scenery and that is EXACTLY what I got! Everything was above our expectations and I have been and will probably always recommend this beauty to ALL of my family and friends.
For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
The view from the apartment was gorgeous, we watching the waves from our room and spotted dolphins on one occasion. Although we spent most of our time roaming the beaches and coffee shops of Wilderness and Sedgefield. It was a pleasure to come back to WavesEnd to wind-down from the busy day, watch the sunset and enjoy a glass of wine accompanied with a choppie:)
Thank you WavesEnd
excellent position over looking the beach...lovely room with verandah, table 2 chairs and sun beds. vanessa and paul were welcoming hosts who gave us restaurant recommendations, number for a taxi service and showed us how to open the gate etc.
Absolutely fantastic stay! From arrival to departure, the highlight of our South Africa tour. Incredibly child-friendly with warm hosts. The rooms and lounge areas are modern and new. Perfectly situated by the beach, offering breathtaking views from our bed and private veranda. The breakfast surpassed that of many 5-star hotels. Highly recommend MGM Wilderness—stay a few nights to savor the guest house, the beach, and Wilderness itself.
Such a breathtakingly beautiful beachfront accommodation. Blown away by the views and the sound of the waves waking you up in the morning. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Amazing hospitality from the owners with exceptional standards of accommodation. Would recommend highly in the beautiful Wilderness!
amazing location and ocean view, you can sleep with the balcony door open. you can spot dolphins in the ocean. great panoramic sunset watching in a small semi private patio. there’s a staircase leading straight to the beach. wilderness is a safe neighborhood from our experience. very friendly hosts made us feel very welcome) the breakfast was exceptional. probably should have stayed more than one night as there are great things to see, the beach, hiking and canoeing.
Mes Amis is a beautiful guest house, with very comfortable, gorgeously appointed rooms, in one of the most beautiful spots in South Africa. Paul and the team were excellent in every way, making us feel completely at home and going out of there way to ensure we are comfortable and well looked after.
The house has direct access to the stunning Wilderness beachfront, and is perfectly situated to enjoy both sunrise and sunset with fantastic coffee or a glass of wine.
Absolutely recommended!
We had a great stay here, it was our first night in a hotel after a few days camping on safari. We got upgraded to a bigger suite which was excellent, two balconies and a huge, comfortable bed. The shower and bath were great. The property organised a restaurant booking and a taxi for us which was really helpful. We were also given route recommendations and maps for our journey back to Cape Town which was really appreciated. We only wish we'd had longer to explore Wilderness.
The Wilderness Beach Resort is located perfectly close to the beach and with an amazing sea view. The hosts are very kind and prepare you the perfect breakfast you need for a great day at Wilderness. The rooms are big with a high fit-out standard and very comfortable. You need to check in before 6pm, but we would absolutely recommend it to be able to see the most amazing sunset.
At the margins of the Wilderness national park, this hostel offers good facilities (hot showers, shared kitchen with fridge) and a comfortable bed in an almost pastoral setting. The accommodation is spread out over a large garden-like area. Staff is friendly.
