For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
A secluded gem away from the hustle and bustle of the town with all the things one needs. A great place to relax with your partner amid the rolling hills above Montagu. Definitely one of the more romantic and unique properties around. Loved the outside hot tub, the fireplace and the braai area. The open plan setup allows for wonderful morning light and memorable sunsets. Very cozy for winter weekend getaways. The complimentary bottle of bubbly was much appreciated and Willem was such an attentive host.
The setting of the cottage on a farm not far from town, overlooking the vineyards and orchards with the mountains as a backdrop. The quiet and tranquility and wildlife (many birds, 2 x buck and a family of mongooses).
We just stayed one night. The chalets were clean and nice. The personal was really friendly.
Normally you should bring your own food, as we forgot that, they made us absolut delicios dinner and breakfast.
The Safaris have been beautiful
It was quiet and comfortable. Our host, Penny was very friendly and helpful she even started the hottub for us, as we arrived a little late. Loved the sunsets and sunrises. Very big shower. The cottage itself was spacious and had everything we needed.
We loved the privacy of the bungalow and the beautiful setting, views, and wildlife. Great bedding!. The fireplace inside is fabulous, and we love the aircon.
The guesthouse was in an excellent location, within walking distance of restaurants and the town centre. The room was large with its own veranda and and seating area and the view of the olive trees and mountains was stunning. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. The area felt felt very safe. The owner was very helpful with restaurant recommendations, directions and places to visit.
We had a perfect stay in the rooms of the Mimosa Lodge. The decision to make the fine dining experience with Bernhard was totally right, the food AND the wine was excellent. Thank you BTW for always keping the glasses full :-)
The old rooms were still in very good shape and nicely equiped. The veranda towards the street was a nice location for the first dring as well as the garden for the last.
Highly recommended!
