We loved being surrounded by animals and having an experience of being in the wilderness. The staff is amazing and they were very friendly. Newburg lodge is honestly a great place to be.
Our hosts, Cobus and Magdel, were amazing. We did horse riding safaris and enjoyed it a lot. The horses are well trained and we rode among zebras and giraffes. The place is very tranquil and the atmosphere is relaxed and positive. The views of the mountains and dam are beautiful.
Location not too far from Joburg but yet it feels you're far from everything, tranquility, wildlife at the doorstep, service by the staff. Overall luxury bush tent experience was impressive.
