Honestly, we were quite taken aback when we saw it was tents, but what a lovely evening and amazing sleep. They did everything to make you feel comfortable.

The tents were very cool, The 3km hiking was pretty cool as well. The farm scenery I enjoyed it as well. The peace and quite of the place, Highly recommend if one is planning to detach a bit to the city life.
From the moment you arrive at African Hills Safari lodge you feel like you are in another world. The staff are absolutely amazing. The room we stayed in was absolutely luxurious. We enjoyed a game drive with our very knowledgeable guide, who also took us for a walk up the mountain. The food was incredible. It was fantastic to see so many animals up close, especially the elephants.
This cozy cottage provided the perfect retreat. Nestled amidst lush greenery have a great charm. We loved waking up to the gentle sounds of nature (and the rooster off course :) and sipping our morning coffee on the veranda.
The view was awesome, and it's so peaceful. All you can hear is the animals.

Not too far out from Jhb. Comfortable bed. Excellent hosts who are animal lovers too. Really peaceful getaway. We enjoyed our time on the hammock. It offered a beautiful view of the sunset. Loved hearing the sound of the jackals in the distance at nightfall. Lovely fireplace. Our dogs had the best time getting away from home - they really enjoyed lazing around. This weekend was just what my husband and I needed - some great quality and connecting time together away from the hustle and bustle of life.
