This place was so cute, so clean and so quiet. The staff was unbelievable. They really made the experience so much better than other lodge/tent sites. The tents were spaced far enough apart to where you felt you had privacy. All basic cooking utensils were provided. The cleaning crew came through and cleaned our site for a small R100 fee which was so worth it. If you needed ice or fire wood they would deliver it to your tent. They had a small store which had any other necessities you could need. Even meats, alcohol, toiletries and candy. The game drive was amazing, we were able to see Rhinos and elephants which was awesome. The rhinos even came close enough to our car that I could almost touch them. The grounds were beautifully groomed and the overall feel of the facility felt like I was in the bush. Which is such a pleasure. The price was so fair and everything was top notch. The only reason I am not giving 10 stars is because we were only allowed to tour the East and south side of the reserve, but we were told majority of the animals were on the north side. Other than that it was spectacular. We WILL be back

An absolute gem. So peaceful, relaxing and private. Facilities are great. Tents spacious and extremely comfortable. Woke up to zebra outside and birds chirping. Owner and his dogs were super friendly. Visiting the miniature horses on the farm was a treat. Not far from Muningi gorge which has fantastic hiking trails and spectacular scenery. So close to Joburg yet you feel like you're miles away from it all. Would definately go back.
For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
The tent was warmer than expected. The verandah was nice and spacious. The boma was a winner. Kitchen is well equipped. Loved the privacy and quiet that this lodge and unit provided.
The Lodge is very nice and well thought. The dishes in the Restaurant were delicious and the service great. There is a deck to watch the sunset, unfortunatly there are electricity wires in across the road, but it's still very nice to relax.
The place is spotlessly clean, absolutely everything is provided, all you need to take with you is your food. The staff are very humble, friendly and most willing to help in every way. The tents are beautifully laid out, well planned and organised. We will go back as soon as we can!!I
We don't think there is much they can improve on, it's perfect!
It's really the best tented camp we've stayed at, if you're looking for relaxation and a stress-free stay, Ouklip is the place to go.
The tents are well equipped and well
Maintained. We spotted few animals passing by next to the camp. I loved everything about Thorn tree camp and will definitely do it again.
The villa was wonderful, clean. The staff were friendly and really meticulous when cleaning. The villa's location was near a waterhole and salt lick - which led to attracting zebra, wildebeest and giraffes. We made use of the Ngiri Safari's sunrise game drive, alongside the mobile spa services of Shazz' Mobile Spa which involved the masseuse setting up at the villa for us.
There's nothing not to like! I absolutely loved Lookout safari. The staff are incredible. The privacy of each chalet is great and the wildlife is magnificent.
What a fantastic place to enjoy some getaway time in the bush and experience the wildlife on your front step. The tents are very luxurious and your own braai place is fantastic. There is some small game roaming around on the plot and for the big game the owner drives you around himself. We even saw a black rhino, very special.
I would definitely recommend Jubula Bush Camp to anyone who doesn't want to give up the luxuries of home when escaping to the bushveld. The tents are spotlessly clean, exceptionally well thought out and equippedd with everything you could need. The tents are also cleverly positioned to allow for privacy from other campers, and various wildlife can be viewed from the tent's decks. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would return to Jabula Bush Camp in a heartbeat!
