Peaceful, tranquil and private, a real hidden gem. Cottages right on the river with an abundance of bird life, a nature lovers dream with all the comfort and luxuries to go along with it. The sunsets over the river from the cottage patio are spectacular in the evening and we enjoyed the scenic drive through the citrus farms, paddles on their canoe and beautiful scenic swimming pool.
Beautiful lodge in a perfect setting with amazing facilities including terrace, private garden, brai, hot tub and jetty on the river with our own kayak. There is also a nice communal pool in the grounds. The safari they run is excellent
Sophia is a great host. The breakfast and the safari tour was great. You should definitely add this when you visit Sophia. It is such a peaceful place at the Addo river.
Such a tranquil and beautiful place. The welcome is fantastic and the meals delicious, plentiful and convenient. The quality of linen and towels is excellent. Being able to take a safari with Francois from the property to Addo and a private game reserve was very convenient and was the icing on the cake!
Beautiful house at the river. Very nice bed, bathroom, outside shower and veranda. The breakfast was wonderfull!! The best we had in whole Sout-Africa! Sophia is lovely, I can recommend this place to everyone!
Everything is to like! Sophie our host was exceptional,kind and friendly. We stayed in the luxury tent. Fished from the deck, with beautiful sunsets. Canoeing on the river, then swimming in the pool overlooking the river. Already missing the beauty and peace and planning our next stay here in one of the modern chalets with jacuzzi. Thank you Sophie.
