For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Staff welcoming and helpful. Very professional.
Location on the river with hippo's magnificent.
Elephants walking past during dinner.
Sunset safari incredible.
A truly memorable stay.
It is a luxury Lodge within Kruger park. The tents were amazing with a super huge and comfortable bed. Everything about the tent was amazing. The outside shower was an added bonus.
The granite rock that is a short walk from the tent is an amazing place to enjoy the sunset over the Kruger and enjoy the true tranquility. Also take some artsy photos :)
The Boma dinner was so romantic and the food for really tasty.
Nkambeni Safari Camp is undeniably the perfect fit for those looking to experience the wonders of Kruger Park. Located at the southern border of the park, the camp offers comfortable accommodations and convenient access to the park's many attractions, making it an ideal choice for visitors seeking an unforgettable safari experience in one of Africa's most renowned wildlife reserves.
The serene location inside the Kruger Park the unique and unforgettable experience that allows you to be surrounded by nature and wildlife, while also enjoying comfortable accommodations and excellent hospitality. The combination of being in the heart of Kruger National Park and having the opportunity to go on safari drives and witness animals up close is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that creates lasting memories.
Right location, very accessible and the hospitality was excellent. Staff are willingly to go out to assists. The safari tour was awesome, the guides engaging us throughout the tour (we did 3 and 6hrs safari tour). The luxury tents are like 5 star hotel, neat, beautiful and comfortable.
We had a wonderful time at the Nkambeni Safari Camp. It feels so secluded and peaceful, with an actual hippo dam on the property, and the tents are extraordinary comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The hot outdoor showers were a huge highlight! The communal area was also lovely and had a great view over the pool (which was another highlight - we came at the end of August which is technically winter but the temperature was perfect). In general it was all even nicer than I expected from the photos.
Magic place to stay after a long day of safari.
Having a sunset drink while you look at the hippos having a swim is an unforgettable experience.
The tents are very clean and the staff is the sweetest. always helpful and nice.
Thank you everyone for your kindness and help.
But mainly Lloyd for your amazing cocktail! It needs to go on the menu :)
We will be back!
Nkambeni Safari Camp was an absolute dream to stay in. From exceptional staff, to being on the border of the Kruger National Park where various animals ranging from Buffalos, Impalas and Hippos can be seen, to staying in well-designed tents, the camp was everything we imagined and more. Whatever we needed was provided for, and the food was lovely.
