The location, and views, could not be any better. Waking up and seeing some of the best parts that the Berg has to offer is amazing. Same thing when watching the sunset in the evening. Stunning views
The location feels extremely remote and stunning. The feeling of being in a treehouse is beautiful. The views onto Spioenkop game reserve, from the main terrace, from the room veranda and from on walks are special. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay personal and warm.
This is a wonderful family run business, we loved the personal touches, the relaxed pace of things and the amazing spa treatments. The tents are extremely private, spacious and comfortable. Value for money is exceptional. If you are looking to get away but want something a bit different from your usual berg or bush experience this is it.
Amazing view from the tent. Mthoko made us feel very welcome, all staff were super friendly. The evening drive to the caves on the terrain brought us very close to the animals living around the tents in the reserve. Our vegetarian meals were excellent.I strongly recommend this place
We didn't know we could have breakfast given we booked a self-catering chalet. The design of the chalet was impressive. We enjoyed the spacious lounge, bedroom and bathroom, and the awesome kitchen on the downstairs veranda with a lovely view of the mountains. The lighting was especially good in each space. The staff kept the chalet immaculately clean and were really helpful and thoughtful. Very pleasant people.
The tent was modern and well appointed.
The food was absolutely marvelous.
Quite a lot of wildlife came close to the lodge and our tent.
The staff made our stay memorable and we felt quite spoilt .
