For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
We had a fantastic stay at The Willow Inn. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was freshly prepared for us and delicious. Room was very specious and we had everything we needed and we mostly needed a hot shower and some relax after a long journey from Scotland.
Warm welcome from the host and hostess. We booked four spacious rooms, with comfortable beds. Very quiet, secure neighbourhood (a guard at a boom in the main access road). Good wifi in the rooms. Comfortable lounge. Large veranda. Expansive views of the garden or golf course (depending on which direction each room faced). Excellent full English breakfast. It's a perfect overnight stop for those flying into OR Tambo in the afternoon en route to the Kruger Park (it's not advisable to drive beyond Benoni at night).
Ecotel accommodated me when I was stranded and at a very short notice, Kayalako deserted me. For that I am greatfull for them.
