The 4 of us loved Sanbona. The highlight of the holiday. 3 perfect nights. The place, the staff, the views, the safaris, the service was fabulous. Our tented suite was just amazing. Marco was a great guide and we had a fabulous time.
The little self-contained cottage, Ansie, was extremely well-appointed and tastefully decorated. It had a lovely veranda with a table and chairs, ideal for taking in the surrounding tranquillity. The friendly animals take 'pet friendly' to a whole new level! A perfect place to break up your travels and unwind!
The view was exceptional. The mountains and river right at your door step. It was breathtaking and very relaxing. Lots of thought was put into the place. We enjoyed star gazing and the hammocks.
Location is very good and our section that we had was enormous...2 big bedrooms, views of the garden, lovely veranda and excellent kitchen facilities. Will definitely stay again.
Our party of 7 enjoyed the breakfasts sitting out on the verandah , the atmosphere in the lodge was always welcoming and we felt quite at home at all times.
The reserve was excellent. The teams attention to detail, local knowledge and hopitality was exceptional. Truely a wonderful eperience. This was my third safari and my most personalised experience.
A good wildlife park not too far away from Cape Town. The scenery is stunning and there is a good amount of wildlife to view. The Gondwana lodge is very comfortable with excellent facilities (given it is in the middle of nowhere)

This is an excellent luxury safari. The food is brilliant and the staff are amazing. We really enjoyed the game drives and saw plenty of animals, in particular, a cheetah feeding on a springbok she had just killed. Our guide, Jordan, was very knowledgeable and made sure each game drive was worthwhile. We stayed in Dwyka Lodge and the rooms were beautiful with a very private terrace which had a plunge pool
The best Safari experience we had in our holiday at the Western Cape. The Reserve is stunning and they really conserve the nature the way it is. While in other resorts it kind of feels like driving through a Zoo, Sanbona is a wildlife adventure.
