Very peaceful and tranquil place. Nice to come here to rest from the city noise or after the safari. Green and spacious territory, everything are clean and staff were very hospitable. The dinner was big and yummy.

Brilliant place to stay! We had Pimbi, 3 large double beds, clean, huge bathroom. The food and facilities were excellent but most of all Gabriel & his staff bent over backwards to help us! We had a flat tyre which they sorted out when local mechanics couldn’t! Sophia our guide on safari worked for the hotel and was brilliant. She also took us on a great tour of Mikumi and the local Massi village!

The staff were all so helpful and the facilities are beautiful. After the long drive from Dar and the morning safari the next day, I really enjoyed a beer by the pool while I read my book in the afternoon. And the food was great - was so great to have mbuzi again.

Exquisite welcome from the staff and good treatment throughout the stay. The pool is fabulous and the restaurant area is very nice in the middle of the natural park environment. The breakfast is super complete and very good, served from an acceptable hour that allows you to go on a safari to the park.

Great base for safari. You can find Samkalina Tours and Safaris here. Check them out. On the first evening of our arrival restaurant staff looked tired and unhappy. Food was ok. There are mosquito nets over the beds and beds are comfortable. In room 7 there was no hot water and the TV remote control was broken. In room 8 there was hot water in the shower. Water in the pool was too cold. Over all this is a good place for few nights and safari.

Breakfast and dinner is consistently good and the plus factor is the incredible friendliness and commitment of the dinning room , kitchen and in fact all staff . We bought some pineapples on the way to Mikumi and the staff not only prepared it when necessary , but kept it in the fridge for us . I have been staying at Tan Swiss for the last 10 years and every trip it is the same .....a passion for service . I find Tan Swiss like an oasis in the desert .
