For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
Our stay was cool, owner is really nice guy he called taxi for us, made us amazing breakfast every morning and just the atmosphere of the place itself is really calm. Everything was clean and even though there is no network for data, there is WIFI connection! Mosquito net is there too!
The property was beautiful and calm. You could watch the sunset from your bed!
The breakfast was such an added bonus and the host was really helpful and accommodating.
We used the bikes available for free which were perfect for getting around the village.
This is a wooden house with 5 rooms which is taken care of carefully by a family. They take very good care of the guests (pick up from bus station, book taxis when needed, organise renting motorcycle or bicycle, and help you with everything you need).
The view is stunning, you can just stay in the accommodation for hours and enjoy the nature and the sunset.
Great breakfast and water, tea and coffee available.
The property and the room were gorgeous. Huge amount of time and effort has gone into developing the look of the place. Incredible views of the mountain ranges, perfect distance from Chiang Dao centre so there’s almost no noise here apart from the wildlife.
Lovely hostel nearby the Main Street and bus station of Chiang Dao. The staff are very friendly and can organise a scooter rental for you, which makes it easy to get around to the different sites. The grounds of the hostel are so peaceful with many places to chill out, including the hammocks! The beds are really comfortable and they provide free towels.
Amazing view and cute little garden with trees and hammocks. The owner and staff were also super nice and accommodating. Also a great restaurant just 5 minutes walk away!
Quiet property with expansive grounds in a pleasant neighborhood about 15 minutes from the wonderful Wat Tham Pha Plong (our favourite) and the wildlife sanctuary. The hosts speak English, French, and Thai.
The plan was to stop here for a night on my bike packing trip and I ended up staying for 3 nights and I didn't want to leave the place. Thongs is wonderful and super friendly host. Takes care of her guests with so much love. Her mom is very sweet and keeps feeding us snacks and deserts all the time which I loved so much. I had all my meals here as they were prepared at home. Super tasty 😋.
My best wishes to Thongs. Hopefully will get to come back here again sometime soon.
Very nice and friendly staff. Great breakfast and one of the best coffees I had in Thailand. The rooms are nice and spacious and so is the bathroom. Nice veranda to sit outside.
