Stayed in room 2 with its big veranda, room was big and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful, highly recommended. Oh and experience the breakfast
Very friendly hosts, they make you feel at home. Hostel has great common areas, very well equipped kitchen. Breakfast included is amazing, great variety of products. The garden is beautiful, you can chill by the river in the hammock or on the terrace. From the hostel it is possible to go by walk to Vintgar George. From Bled lake by car it is also very close.
This place is so special. You can tell the owner really cares about this place and there's so many hidden gems here, like the fresh veg/herbs in the garden and the firepit. Breakfast was delicious overlooking the river and you can even go for a swim if you're brave enough! If that's not enough to convince you to stay here...have you seen the hammocks!?!
The Riverside Chill Hostel is in a great location, on the river Radovna. Just 15 mins walk to Vintgar Gorge, 15 mins walk to a lovely pizzeria restaurant and 20 mins walk to the bus station. There is loads of space to hang out... cosy chairs, hammocks etc. A nice big well equipped kitchen if you want to cook. Clean, spacious bathrooms. Comfy beds with lockers. The owners Katy and Ryan are so friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is plentiful and delicious. It's a great place to stay and chill by the river.
Everything was perfect. We arrived late, but Ryan was very understanding and welcoming, and even helped us make sure we could get something to eat from the nearby pizza place just before it closed. Breakfast was generous and yummy! Katja also kindly helped us with our walking plan the next day :)
We walked from the Bled Jezero train station around sunset time. It was peaceful and we enjoyed the views!
Amazing apartment.. Very spacious, clean and comfortable with very welcoming hosts. Lovely veranda to relax upon. Added bonus of well maintained bikes to borrow with a short ride to the lake, mostly traffic free..worth the effort. Bakery 5 mins walk away. Although on a main road it was still very quiet. Shuttle Bus to Vintgar gorge 5 min walk away. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved the views from the balcony, they were stunning. Amazing location, 15 minute walk to the Gorge. We walked to lake Bled also which was around a 40 minute walk. There is a local sourced restaurant a 5 minute walk up the hill. We had fresh fish and traditional Slovenian desert. The appartment was very clean too. Roman was very friendly and a good host. He told us we could ask him anytime if we needed anything. There was also parking available.
The location was perfect, the apartment was lovely and so were the owners. We spent afternoons having a siesta in the hammocks, taking in the scenery and wildlife. Didn’t want to leave
