For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
The ladies talking care of the Glamping were super nice and helpful. There is toilet/shower outside but also inside, in case you would like more privacy. The breakfast was good and also the coffee. We had the option to take bikes and ride through the village. Even if we arrived earlier than the check in normally is, the lady welcomed us and invited us for coffee. In the tents, there are electrical heater and ventilator, in case it is cold or hot. I really recomand this place.
Nice place, where you can enjoy the view and relax. We stayed in one of the tents that have full view over the lake. Very nice and helpfull staff and owner.
On the list of things we liked while staying at Valea Doftanei Glamping were:
- the staff was amazing and helpful
- they have a parking lot right in the backyard away from the main street. Just ask them and they will guide you to it
- they have a barbecue available on the property
- the tents are specious and they have blankets and heaters if you're not used to temperatures of 15C or lower at night
