Louie greeted us at the door and he was super friendly.
We really enjoyed the facilities and the concept of sleeping in the bubble. Everything was extremely clean and he really enjoyed the jacuzzi, which was lovely and warm on arrival. The location is very quiet and easy to find.
The breakfast was yummy with lots of variety.
Worth every penny!
We will definitely be back on our next holiday to Portugal.
For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
There are tents with plenty of space. The one I stayed in had a giant mattress.
The host, Lourenço, was accommodating.
There is a space for cooking, and they also offer to bring food and drinks to the tent.
It was a great experience.
We really enjoyed our stay in Setubal - we were there for 6 weeks. The location is good about 1.2km from the City Square (a nice 15 min walk, although uphill the way back). Tania is a great host, met us at the apartment late (10pm) to let us in, and was attentive and responsive when required with a few issues to start. The cost of the apartment compared to others was significantly cheaper. Balcony has nice views to the ocean and hills for sunsets.
I've had a wonderfull stay with Manuela and Cláudio. Their place is a beautiful peaceful paradise set in the remote nature of Setúbal, yet close by the city and beaches. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a comfy bed and a lot of privacy. The breakfast is just as lovely; with fresh fruit, bread and cheeses. The pool is bright clean, set in a beautiful garden with outdoor showers and relaxing sun beds. Just lovely.
The veranda is huge with a stunning view. Building is so clean and fresh. So cosy. Everything you need. Bed is super comfy. I really enjoyed my stay here.
